Hogcliff or Holton Heath

The venue was changed to Holt Heath

Gorse clearance at Hogcliff or possibly a visit to Holton Heath (see update in newsletter).

Gorse and birch clearance was carried out on a section of Holt Heath, just down the track from the Forestry Commission Car Park at Whitesheet Plantation. It stayed sunny and bright all day, and a large number of people turned up (17+). The work progressed so well that three fires had to be built, and Derek (EN) even had an opportunity to wield his chainsaw.
