The Dyane is a fun vehicle
to drive, with the suspension and roll back roof of a 2CV with the added
advantage of a hatchback instead of a boot. The engine is an air-cooled
602cc horizontally opposed 4-stroke flat twin, and it has powered the
car up mountains in North Wales and around Dorset.
It was taken off the road in
1997 and was sitting on my Aunts drive for approximately 5 years until
being transported home in 2002. It was then taken away to be restored in September 2006, returning home in Februray 2008. |
