Redeployment role due to restructuring of School, main duties include:

  • Managing the implementation and use of recently acquired Field equipment loan and tracking IT system.
  • Administration of ordering and maintenance processes for Laboratory and Field equipment in accordance with financial procedures.
  • Ensuring that staff and students have been properly trained in the use of Field Equipment.
July 2006 - Sept. 2009

Bournemouth University, Demonstrator (Fieldwork).

Demonstrating the use and applications of topographic and geophysical survey equipment and techniques, including:

  • Real Time Kinematic Differential GPS
  • Total Stations
  • Levelling
  • Ground Penetrating RADAR.

In addition, providing advice and support to students using GIS software, specifically ArcGIS and Surfer. Provide support for research involving GPR and 3D laser scanning, e.g. GPR investigation of Chesil Beach, Dorset, UK; 3D laser scan of first trench to be excavated amongst the stones at Stonehenge, UK, April 2008.
